Front Sight

Front Sight Being Featured In Magazines and Newspapers the World Over

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is the hot-word for gun enthusiasts and gun control maniacs alike. But not for the reason some may think. Front Sight is the world’s first resort town based around not golf or raquet, but firearms. Dr. Ignatius Piazza, a former chiropractor, is the founder and director of Front Sight. The world-class, luxury gun-town is his idea. Often calling his $25 million project the “Disneyland for Gun Owners”, or the “Pebble Beach of Firearms”, Piazza has been a gun training enthusiast since 1988, when he was sitting in his living room and became the victim of a drive-by shooting. His personal voyage for firearms training began then, as did his intention to train America in safe, effective gun use.

Having been transplanted from Bakersfield, California, across the border to the Las Vegas area, Front Sight is now the world’s most successful, productive shooting school. Front Sight trains and graduates more students than all other shooting schools in America combined. Front Sight is being heralded as having the finest gun training and firearms training on the planet. Dr. Piazza is one of the world’s only Four Weapons Combat Masters – one of the most illustrious and difficult weapons certifications extant – and has compressed his formidable knowledge of firearms, self defense training and situation-handling into 1-, 2- and 4-day courses, available to anyone able to pay and make it to the Las Vegas, Nevada 550-acre site.

Don’t go thinking this is a militia/neo-NAZI center, though. In an interview with USA Today, Dr. Piazza makes mention of this easy misconception that some people have. “Anti-gun people expect to see Bubba, his redneck buddies and a bunch of neo-Nazis, but they're not going to find that here,” Piazza says. “They can't say we're training militia or training terrorists when we have law enforcement officers in every class here.” Cops, ex-cops, armed forces personnel, doctors, lawyers, teachers, pilots, college students; everyone receives the world’s finest firearms training at Front Sight
